The ABIM Foundation today announced the election of David L. Coleman, MD as Chair and the appointment of four new members to its Board of Trustees effective July 1, 2022: Odette C. Bolano, FACHE, MHA, BSN, Ali Khan, MD, MPP, FACP, Bruce Leff, MD, and Heather Comer Yun, MD, FACP, FIDS. The Board also elected Frederick P. Cerise, MD, MPH as Vice Chair and Jeanne Marrazzo, MD, MPH as Secretary-Treasurer.

AcademyHealth, ABIM Foundation name University of Michigan’s Jodyn Platt as a Senior Scholar in Residence

Jodyn Platt, MPH, PhD will provide scholarly guidance to AcademyHealth, national health research leader, and the ABIM Foundation, which advances medical professionalism to improve health care. The Hastings Center, a global leader in health ethics, today announced that the American Hospital Association and the ABIM Foundation joined as sponsors of a two-day health equity summit, “Righting the Wrongs: Tackling Health Equity.” The AHA and ABIM Foundation join the American Medical Association and the American Nurses Association as sponsors of the summit.
